In this entry, we'll see some of the new features inside Adobe Photoshop CC 2017. (New Start Work-space, Photoshop Search Bar, New Document dialog, Improved Face Aware Liquify Tools & The Enhanced Select and Mask Tool.)
➤ Before you start watching, notice that this tutorial was made using Windows OS, so for Mac users simply alter Ctrl with CMD, and Alt with the Opt key.
➤This Start workspace was actually first introduced in Photoshop CC 2015, but in the CC 2017, Adobe has streamlined it a bit and made a few changes, also Adobe keep the option whether to keep or hide the start workspace, which you can see in the video bellow.
➤Adobe Photoshop now offers a search command, which allows you to browse for an online help or tutorials, or you can search for an image in Adobe Stock assets, or you can search inside the software itself. You can access the search bar via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F (or CMD+F on Mac) or via the new search symbol in the upper right corner of the application.
➤The Face Aware Liquify tool was first introduced in Photoshop CC 2015.5, however in 2017 edition, Adobe improved it and made few changes, now we can adjust each eye separately instead of only adjusting both at once.
➤Select and Mask Workspace was first introduced in Photoshop CC 2015.5 too, and it has been enhanced in this version, the Polygonal Lasso tool has been added to the task-space toolbar now, and the ability to view a high-res or low-res preview during your selection.
